Sheffield City Centre Collections
15th March 2008RAG this weekend is running a series of collections in Sheffield City Centre, at the Moor, Fargate and at the Train Station. Its part of the JDRF 3 nations RAG Raids, that 24 different university RAG groups up and down the country are taking part.
Sheffield University will be joined by Leeds and Hallam RAGs as well as members of flying teapots and other busker-street performers at different times all over the weekend.
All money collected will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) This Charities aim is to find a cure for type 1diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
There will be various collections at different points and times. We even have some collections licences to shake buckets inside and outside the large St Patrick’s Day tent that will be set up on Fargate.
We still need lots of people to help out, and collect money, Every person taking part will be given a free RAG t-shirt +face paints ..etc on the day
We'll be doing our first collection on Friday afternoon, meeting in the Source, Students Union at 1pm (finishing at 5pm)
